Texas Lavendar Women’s 5k/10k Run

This women-only event starts at 8:30 am on Saturday, June 4 on the property of Miller Creek Lavender Farm, following Miller Creek Rd on the east side of 281 for a scenic out and back. There are 3 fully stocked water stops manned by handsome male servants wearing Hawaiian shirts. 5 water stops for the 10K and 3 for the 5K.

Runners love this challenging course followed by our famous post race champagne brunch. After the race, runners  enjoy breakfast with champagne or mimosas, great music, free massages, shopping for lavender products, and cutting lavender from the field. This is also the first weekend of the Blanco Lavender Days in which all other local farms participate.

Race for the Cure!

Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.
